What It Is / How It Works

This retractable keychain is a badge reel that holds keys, ID badges or cards on a cord that pulls back into the housing. Keychains of this type are built to keep small items within reach and off the floor, and the cord is kept neat between uses.

Who It's For / Use Cases

Retractable keychains suit people who clip keys or an ID badge to a belt, backpack or bag and want the cord kept out of the way. Office staff, students and anyone who opens doors or gates often may find a reel handy for daily carry.

How to Use / Care

1. Clip the carabiner to a belt, backpack or bag, then hang keys or badges on the badge buckle.
2. Pull the cord out to the length you need, then let it retract when you are done.

How to Choose

Choose by how you plan to carry it. A reel suits keys at a pocket or belt loop, while a longer reach suits a bag strap or a badge worn at the chest. Check the size in Product Specifications against the space you have, and pick a reel whose retraction feels firm enough for the load you carry.
