What It Is / How It Works

This flannel cloth tape is an electrical insulating tape.

Who It's For / Use Cases

Electrical insulating cloth tapes suit people who wrap and bundle wires, cables and leads. They are often chosen for appliance cords, lamp wiring and cable runs where a fabric tape can be wrapped by hand. Buyers with several jobs can pick a width that matches the size of each bundle.

How to Use / Care

1. Use the tape to insulate and bundle electrical wires.

How to Choose

Choose the width to match the wire or bundle you are working with. Widths run from 9mm (0.35 in) to 50mm (1.97 in), so a narrow width suits a single lead and a wider width covers a larger bundle. Rolls come in 10 m (32.8 ft), 15 m (49.2 ft) or 25 m (82 ft) lengths, with 1 to 4 rolls per pack, so check the length against how much wrapping the job needs.
