What It Is / How It Works

A cat litter box mat is a floor mat placed under or beside a litter tray to catch litter that is kicked out or carried out on paws.

Who It's For / Use Cases

Cat litter box mats suit cat and kitten owners who want less litter spread across hard floors, rugs or laundry areas around the tray. They are useful in homes where the tray sits in a kitchen, hallway or bathroom corner, where litter is most often tracked out.

How to Use / Care

1. Put the mat under the litter tray so the cat can use the tray in a clean environment.
2. Use a hoover to remove cat litter from the mat.
3. Rinse the mat under the sink or shower head to clean it.
4. Pick up the litter tray and pour the litter that fell through the honeycomb back into the tray.

How to Choose

Choose the size by the footprint of your litter tray and the area where litter usually lands. The mat comes in 30x30cm (11.8 × 11.8 in), 40x50cm (15.7 × 19.7 in) and 45x60cm (17.7 × 23.6 in), so measure the floor in front of the tray and pick the size that covers it.
