What It Is / How It Works

This glossy black vinyl wrap is a self-adhesive film for covering a car body, motorcycle or other smooth surface. The film is made of flexible polymeric PVC and is sold in black.

Who It's For / Use Cases

Vinyl wraps suit people who want to change the look of a car, motorcycle or other smooth surface without painting it. They also suit owners who want a finish that can be removed later, and who are willing to clean the surface and work the film slowly so it lies flat.

How to Use / Care

1. Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol to remove contaminants.
2. Peel off the backing paper.
3. On curved parts, gently heat the film with a hairdryer or heat gun for better stretch and fit.
4. Apply slowly, using a squeegee or card to smooth out air.

How to Choose

Start with the area you want to cover and pick a size that spans it, with some extra length for trimming. The store lists seven sizes, from 10x150 cm (3.9 × 59.1 in) to 50x150 cm (19.7 × 59.1 in) and longer rolls, so measure the panel first. Black is the only color offered.
