What It Is / How It Works

This stainless steel hemostatic forceps is a clamping tool. Forceps of this type use two hinged jaws to hold small objects.

Who It's For / Use Cases

Hobbyists and crafters who need a tool to hold small parts will find clamping forceps useful. That includes people who tie flies, sew, fish or build models, where a steady grip on a small wire, screw or shaft makes detailed work easier.

How to Use / Care

1. Use the tip to thread a shaft through a tiny gap.
2. Use the jaws to firmly grab a wire or screw.
3. Lock the hemostat so the serrated jaw holds its grip.

How to Choose

Choose the length by the work. The three sizes are 12.5 cm (4.9 in), 16 cm (6.3 in) and 18 cm (7.1 in). A shorter length suits work in tight spaces, while a longer length gives more reach. Check the size before you order.
