What It Is / How It Works

This medical eye patch is a single black cover that is worn over one eye, sold as one unit. It is made of polyester fabric and is held in place by an adjustable stretchy rope. It is designed to help prevent strong light from reaching the covered eye.

Who It's For / Use Cases

Eye patches of this kind suit people who need one eye covered during daily wear or during vision training, as their eye care provider directs. They also suit anyone who wants a soft cover that can be washed and reused, and who values a simple cover that can be adjusted to fit the head.

How to Use / Care

1. Place the patch over the right or left eye that needs covering.
2. Pull the stretchy rope to adjust the fit so the patch stays in place.
3. Position the eyes inside the groove so they can close or open without pressure.
4. Wash the patch when it becomes soiled.

How to Choose

When choosing an eye patch, start with the length. The listed range is 32-65cm, so check that the rope will reach around the head before buying. Look at which eye needs covering, since this patch is for either the right or left eye. This one is black polyester, so the color and fabric are already set.
